Client Biography
Bridgnorth Bakes was founded in the middle of COVID, where the owner, Jessica Bayley, supplied the local town with all things indulgent! The company then grew to offer its desserts out of their custom “Dessert Truck,” which is mobile, catering at food fairs, events, and weddings. Over the last year, Bridgnorth Bakes has opened the “Bakehouse” located in central Bridgnorth along with the “Dessert Bar”, which is a miniature Citroen HY designed to cater for indoor events and parties. The company recently went viral, amassing a following of 12,000 followers on Instagram whilst being featured on pages such as the Food Bible and UniGrub.
It’s true what they say, ‘We eat with our eyes.’ Our aim with this set of shots was to show the Dessert Truck and Bar in the best light so potential customers of Bridgnorth Bakes could see “exactly what they were getting. In terms of the food shots, we wanted to keep the shoot simple. When the food looks this good, there is no need to overcomplicate the photography when the product already looks this good. The lighting was kept natural, along with a minimal post- edit. The biggest disappointment is when food in reality doesn’t look as good as the photos you’ve seen before. We wanted to ensure in this case that the images captured the product as it would appear to the consumer.
